The DJI Mavic 3 drone is the latest release from the Chinese technology giant, and with its many new features, it’s sure to be a hit with both veteran and novice drone pilots alike. Here’s my review of the new drone after using it for about six months now. I’ll take you through what I like and dislike about the Mavic 3, and also include some tips on how to use this great piece of equipment. If you’re thinking about getting your own Mavic 3 drone, or want to know more about the way it works, then keep reading to learn everything you need to know!
The Best Features
With its compact, foldable design and many useful features, the Mavic 3 is a great choice for anyone who wants to take it anywhere with them. It features advanced features like ActiveTrack 3.0, QuickShots and advanced obstacle avoidance technology for safe flight. It even has the best image quality of any Mavic drone to date! All these aspects together make the Mavic 3 a great pick for those looking to purchase their first high-end drone or upgrade from an older one.
Pros & Cons
The DJI Mavic 3 drone has a load of really great features and a few that don’t live up to the hype. Let’s look at the good and the bad, so you can be sure to get the drone that works best for you. DJI’s signature gimbal design makes a return on the new drone and it still performs brilliantly; hand-stabilization is top-notch and easily keeps things steady in high winds, which is definitely an issue with other drones on the market. Another awesome feature is ActiveTrack, which lets you draw a box around a moving object (like your friend), and then follow it as it moves around – even if they’re off-screen!
DJI claim the battery lasts 40 minutes, but during our testing in real-world conditions, it’s more realistic to expect 32 minutes of flight time.
DJI Mavic 3 Cine
Price isn’t an issue if you’re looking for great quality and performance. DJI Mavic 3 Cine takes full advantage of everything that makes the drone so popular, including its agility and ability to withstand different weather conditions. I purchased it with its full set of features, but personally found a lot of these unnecessary, especially if you’re just a beginner!
Where To Buy?
The DJI Mavic 3 drone is available at the DJI store, on Amazon and at other drone stores. Where you buy your new drone will depend on whether you want to order online or if you prefer to buy the DJI Mavic 3 from a local store. The good news is that it doesn’t matter where you get it because delivery is often free, the price is the same everywhere, and all of the stores have excellent return policies.
