The media could not be loaded.  Picture is awesome can never go back to a phone drone now, straight to manual, if you’re confident enough. If you are also having issues activating the drone clear the cache, in dji app, log put log back in and you should have no problems. Absolutely ace fun, batteries not so much, and for the price of them too. But putting that aside, wow just wow. Incredible fun.. Don’t buy if not confident. Also you will need a decent sd card otherwise you’re footage will be in super slow mo. So don’t skimp on sd card. Enjoy doing nearly 90mph standing still, it’s Ace…

As a recently new drone pilot & having a hankering for another drone I happened across this beast & trust me the speed is insane I love hurtling around at 60 mph in sport mode I will learn to use manual mode it’ll do just shy of 100 mph. Really great that you can learn to fly in safety using the DJI fpv virtual simulator using your goggles & controller your not tied by weather this way you can practice manual mode & only crash virtually. Straight out of the box it has the flight characteristics of any DJI drone if you fly a mini you can fly this with no learning curve in normal & sport mode. Okay the claimed 20 minute flight time is so far unachievable ive had 12 minutes in normal mode & the best I’ve managed ragging it in sport mode is just shy of 10 minutes. Now the way understand the CAA dronecode you cannot fly without a spotter as you don’t have (VLOS) visual line of sight cos your wearing goggles & have no spatial awareness so you’ll need to bear this in mind as to whether this bad boy is for you. It’s insanely good fun goes fast produces some decent visuals & when you learn the manual mode (Acro) then it’s flips barrel rolls all the stunt flying you can imagine & the insane top speed again bear in mind it’s even hungrier for power in full acro expect max flight times of around 7 minutes. Another tip ALWAYS but the flymore kits this drone will need 3 fully charged batteries for you to get the flight time you require I’d also if you can stretch to it to get another goggle battery they’re about another £30. Now I’ve just crashed it on landing pilot error using motion controller no harm done just bent the one propeller straightened it out & test flew for over a mile with no issues unless you face plant it high speed you’ll do it no harm ! Summary it’s an absolute blast worth the money ? I’d say an emphatic YES & the motion controller is so intuitive makes it really easy just point the circle & that’s where it’ll go just be careful landing in a tight space !

Now the headline “Best Drone Out There” is a slight over exaggeration but hear me out.The drone itself has three modes, Normal, Sport and Manual. If you’ve flown FPV drones in the past this is a walk in the park but be aware, the Manual mode does still hold you back till you turn the settings off in the goggles. Then it’s all you.The reason I make the bold claim is cause the drone hosts a 4K 60 camera which takes amazing videos that if you fly in Normal mode then you’re still able to capture the slow cinematics of a Mavic etc and seconds later being able to switch to manual and follow a car on the motorway up to 90MPH, FOLLOW A CAR!! All in the same drone..It’s very versatile and is good fun as a ‘beginner’ drone or as a final drone which does it all.I recommend you watch a few vids on FPV drones and decide if you want to be flying the full sport drones made for racing and flips or if you want a mix of both with the DJI FPV being able to do the flips and racing but also with a great camera quality as well..

This is an excellent piece of kit. Needed to install the version of DJI Assistant 2 dedicated to the FPV and was then able to update firmware on the drone, headset and controller. Once all three were updated the activation process went smoothly. Control is straightforward, image transmission is solid and image quality is high. Looking forward to try out the additional flight modes.

Bought this to add to my existing large fleet. Great mid-point between a Mavic type drone and a full fpv racer. Should be good fun.

This drone is not designed for FPV specialists , it’s not designed for those that need super cinematic functionality but if you want a mix of both , crystal clear vision and an insane amount of (nervous) fun this is the one, there’s a great learning curve on FPV flying and the simulator app is a must , if you crash it it will likely be expensive and I would not be trying extreme acrobatics with it but when you hit 60mph+ in a lot of space it’s incredible ..

OMG this is the most intense experience! I have been racing it around the garden and surrounding fields at 60mph. You need a bug area to play with this toy and it is pretty noisy – but then it does 0-60 in about 2 seconds and blows your mind.

Picture quality in goggles amazing and that’s saying alot from me. The dji Fpv won’t disappoint. You can easily fly a mile out and no loss of signal nor quality of picture through goggles is affected. This DJI Fpv is everything I dreamed of an more. It’s quite heavy but yet it’s so quick and agile. If you’re got the monies buy it it won’t disappoint.

First off … there’s very little in the way of instructions in the box. You’re going to have to watch the tutorials and understand the different modes and buttons. There are LOTS of settings and hidden functionality with this kit.You also need to charge 4 components.1) Your mobile Phone2) The battery pack for the FPV goggles3) The controller4) The drone itselfThis will all take time. Then when you get excited and keen to get going and connect it all up … well then hang your coat back up. The goggles and app and drone all wanted an update in my case. Over 330Mb in one case. Long story short it took over an hour. So once everything is charged and updated … you’re ready to go … or are you? Nope. You really do need to watch the video to understand what comes off (Gimbal protector) and how to switch on the battery packs and finally a lot of the controls themselves. Then … and only then are you ready to fly.One thing that will come as a massive surprise is the weight of the drone itself. It’s like nothing I’ve ever flown before … it feels like a house brick. I suspect that is in order to get the 20 mins of batter power. The drone itself is tiny and very stable even in a good wind. Video quality is very good (it needs to be for FPV) and response is very slick. You need some previous experience with Drones to fly this safely …. but there are 3 controls you MUST know where they are and how to access them blind. Remember with goggles on you can’t look down and spot the controls. So NUMBER 1 : Make sure you know where the BRAKE/HOVER RETURN TO HOME is. It’s the same button. Press it once quickly and the drone immediately stops and hovers while you gather your thoughts.NUMBER 2 : Return to Home. If it all goes to a ball of string press and HOLD the BRAKE/HOVER button for 2 seconds and the drone will head back home …. a word of warning … it doesn’t always take the most direct router back to you AND it won’t always land where it took off …. that can be a worry as I’ve seen it land 2 meters away from where it took off.Number 3 : Do you know how to look up and down? When flying this is super helpful. Use the silver wheel on the left.Important TIPS : If this is your first time flying in FPV mode have someone with you. They get a bigger picture of things than you do …. for example if the drone starts to move towards you all you may see is a little drift. Someone else might see it’s drifting close enough to hurt you. Secondly I recommend sitting down the first few times. FPV flight can make you dizzy so be careful. My last comment : This is possible the best drone I have flown to date. This is a LOT of fun in FPV and I’ve just bought the hand sensory controller as well. Enjoy.
